1. Who can use PurinCare

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use PurinCare. If you use the App on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. PurinCare is not medical advice

PurinCare is a lifestyle and wellness tool designed to help you track meals, hydration, sleep, medication reminders and uric acid results. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including gout.

AI-generated food analysis, purine estimates, recommendations, sleep insights and meal plans are provided for informational purposes only. They are based on estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, medication or treatment, and seek immediate medical attention for any symptoms that concern you.

3. No account — your data lives on your device

PurinCare works without sign-up or login. The information you enter — your gout profile, meals, food photos, hydration, reminders, and uric acid results — is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device. How limited data is processed by third parties to power AI features is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Some features of PurinCare require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and managed via our subscription provider. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID settings (App Store › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period remains active until it ends.
• Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Payments, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to PurinCare systems or related infrastructure;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the App, except as permitted by law;
• Upload content that infringes another person’s rights or contains malicious code; or
• Use the App to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment to others.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the food photos, logs, lab results, and other information you create in the App (“Your Content”). Your Content stays on your device. When you use an AI feature, the relevant input (for example, a food photo, or sleep metrics computed on your device) is transmitted to our AI provider solely to generate the result you requested and is not used to build a profile of you. You grant PurinCare the limited permission needed to process Your Content for this purpose, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The PurinCare app, including its design, code, branding, and content we create, is owned by PurinCare and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non- transferable, revocable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

8. Third-party services

PurinCare relies on third parties to deliver certain features, including Apple Health (sleep data you authorize), Apple and our subscription provider (subscriptions), and Google (AI food and sleep analysis). Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using PurinCare at any time. You can erase all of your data from inside the App (Profile › reset / erase data), and uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device. We may discontinue the App, or limit access, if you breach these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the App or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurinCare disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of purine estimates, and uninterrupted availability of the App.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PurinCare and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health outcomes resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when changes are material, notify you in-app. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
